Utilize Your Bathroom Cabinets Better for More Storage Space

Are you stuck with a tiny bathroom with just one or two bathroom cabinets? If so, then maximize your bathroom cabinet’s storage space by using these off the shelf kitchen cabinet supplies from various home stores.

Pull out trash bins
Instead of using these to store and sort garbage, create your own customized laundry solution. Simply purchase the largest size that will fit in the dead space under your sink, and suddenly you’ve used your bathroom cabinets to get rid of that unsightly laundry bin.

Cabinet door mounted spice racks
Cabinet door mounted spice racks are a great solution for creating more storage in your bathroom cabinets. They can be used to store deodorant, extra bars of soap and any other personal supplies that would fit into a narrow space.

Drawer organizers
Drawer organizers are the perfect solution for sorting hair clips, brushes, makeup, razors and other whatnots. Often lost in a bathroom cabinet drawer, these items are handy and easily located when stored using a drawer organizer.

Pullout pantries
If space and your bathroom’s layout allows it, consider a pull out pantry storage solution between the toilet and sink. These are great tools for utilizing narrow spaces for storing linens, towels, hair dryers and other items if you lack a large linen or bedroom closet.

But these are not the only potential solutions to your bathroom cabinet storage challenges.

If you have the space, and it is not being utilized, consider ordering an additional bathroom cabinet. Or, look into solutions that maximize the space above your toilet. Numerous home supply stores sell easy to assemble bathroom cabinets for these areas, which include a place to hang towels on either side, and / or shelves or closed cabinets. And, if there are two of you trying to get ready in a small bathroom each morning, if the over the toilet bathroom cabinet has mirrored doors it allows one person to shave and the other to put on makeup or blow dry their hair.

And last but not least, several times a year take the time to clean out your bathroom cabinets. You will be amazed at what you find in them. Almost gone shampoo, old razors, makeup that is no longer good, as well as boxes of long ago used items. But by clearing out what you don’t really need or use, it will be easier to find what you do use in your bathroom cabinets quickly and easily. Nor will you feel overwhelmed by the situation. But rather, being in your tiny bathroom will be a much more pleasant experience.

Remember, a bathroom doesn’t need to be huge to be functional. By paring down what you have to what you need and utilizing space saving kitchen cabinet supplies, it can meet all of your bathroom cabinet storage needs.
